The second project in the Country Road, Landcare and cotton industry biodiversity partnership - that will see $600,000 from the sale of Australian cotton Heritage Sweats invested in cotton farms in the Namoi region to improve and restore native plant and animal species - has just been announced.

The 2022 ABARES Science and Innovation Awards for Young People in Agriculture - supported by CRDC - are now open. CRDC is encouraging young researchers aged 18-35 to apply for a grant valued at up to $22,000 to fund an innovative research project that will benefit Australia's cotton industry.
