Applications are being sought from rural leaders interested in undertaking the Australian Rural Leadership Foundation's highly regarded Australian Rural Leadership Program (ARLP).

The Cotton Research and Development Corporation (CRDC) has today announced the appointment of a new Research and Development (R&D) Manager, Elsie Hudson, and a new CottonInfo Communications Lead, Brad Pfeffer.

New vision-based plant detection technology released by John Deere was developed through projects supported by CRDC with researchers from the University of Southern Queensland (USQ).

Local farmers, residents and Landcare groups joined industry experts, researchers, and drone and tubestock specialists to share the latest revegetation methods and information.

The winter 2021 edition of CRDC's magazine, Spotlight, has just been published, with a focus on 'innovation'.

Applications are now open for the Nuffield Australian Scholarships, supported by CRDC and Cotton Australia. Each scholarship is valued at $30,000 and Nuffield Australia will award up to 20 scholarship for the 2022 year, including one supported by CRDC and Cotton Australia for the Australian cotton industry.

The 2021 cohort of the Australian Future Cotton Leaders Program came together in Armidale NSW this week for their first face-to-face meeting. The Future Cotton Leaders Program is funded by Cotton Australia and CRDC, and is aimed at emerging leaders across the cotton industry.
