Supporting cotton growers in a carbon economy

Eight Australia’s RDCs, including CRDC, are working with Agricultural Innovation Australia to develop a carbon footprint solution. The Environmental Accounting Platform (EAP) is an easy-to-access tool to help growers better understanding their on-farm baseline carbon emissions and residual footprint and make better-informed decisions.

Sensing something in the bush

The bush now has ears thanks to acoustic recorders being deployed around the Gwydir Valley. It’s part of a CRDC-supported project to quantify the importance of integrated pest management strategies and habitat connectivity in cotton landscapes.
