Final call for partners interested in being part of CRDC's new Australian Cotton Disease Collaboration (ACDC): our $10 million investment into solving cotton diseases. Expressions of interest for potential partners close at 5pm today.

"Conventional wisdom says that a higher yielding crop needs more of the major nutrients than one that's less productive. But what if that's not the case? Researchers are attempting to answer that very question with a three-year project to assess just how much nitrogen and phosphorus is needed by modern cotton cultivars."

Applications are open for two roles within CRDC - one leading the cotton industry's extension program; the other demonstrating the impact of cotton innovation through data.

CRDC has successfully facilitated the commercialisation of ground-breaking research by the University of Southern Queensland’s (UniSQ) Centre for Agricultural Engineering, empowering cotton growers to optimise irrigation scheduling from the crucial first irrigation.
