Today is February 11, the International Day of Women & Girls in Science. This year's theme is 'water unites us': a fitting theme for cotton researchers! On this day (and all days) we recognise & acknowledge the enormous contributions of all women and girls in agricultural research and STEM.
The Summer 2025–26 edition of Spotlight captures a season of innovation, leadership and forward-thinking collaboration. This edition opens with CRDC’s 2025 Innovation Call, offering up to $50,000 to innovations and solutions for cotton’s most pressing challenges, from pest management and riparian weed control to optimising nitrogen use.
Cotton growers and others from within the Australian cotton industry are strongly encouraged to apply to join the CRDC board as part-time Non-Executive Directors.
