This week, the Directors from CRDC and Cotton Australia met in Brisbane for a joint board meeting, hosted by the University of Queensland's Global Change Institute.
As part of the visit, Directors met with Global Change Institute leaders and innovation brokers, and visited the Queensland Alliance for Agriculture and Food Innovation (QAAFI) labs to see CRDC-supported research in action.
QAAFI's Neena Mitter presented to the group on the continued development of BioClay™ - a ground-breaking biological crop protection approach that is entirely changing the way we think about and manage pests and diseases of cotton and other crops.
CRDC is partnering with QAAFI, the Australian Institute for Bioengineering and Nanotechnology, Nufarm and fellow research and development corporation, Hort Innovation, to bring this novel solution to cotton growers.
