Cotton researchers gather in Canberra for biennial Cotton Research Conference (5 September 2017)

The cotton research community are meeting in Canberra this week for the biennial Cotton Research Conference, proudly supported by founding and major sponsor, CRDC.

Held at CSIRO's disovery centre, the conference brings 150 leading cotton researchers together for three days of scientific presentations, covering digital agriculture, irrigation and water use productivity, weeds and weed control, nitrogen and nutrients, plant diseases, pests and pest management, farm systems and ecosystems, cotton fibres and post-harvest science, and breeding and biotechnology.

51 of the 88 speakers on the Conference agenda are conducting cotton research with support from CRDC.
