CRDC's Warwick Waters has been selected as a joint awardee in the Australasia-Pacific Extension Network (APEN) awards for excellence in extension.
Held virtually in February, the awards were announced as part of the APEN international conference, which brought together rural advisors, extension officers and researchers to discuss extension research and practice.
Warwick jointly received the APEN Open Award for Excellence in Extension, along with Denise Bewsell of New Zealand, for his work in managing the Australia cotton industry's extension program, CottonInfo, since 2014. CottonInfo is a partnership between CRDC, Cotton Australia and Cotton Seed Distributors.
