Through investment from CRDC, a semi-automated reporting system is being developed for the Australian cotton industry to help make economic, environmental and social sustainability reporting more efficient.
The information repository will integrate information for various sustainability targets and contextual measures, which are stored in multiple data sources and in different formats. The system will enable users to access sustainability target values and their associated data sources, as well as deposit target values and documents, while visualisation tools will allow users to automatically generate figures from the data that can be used in sustainability reports.
The repository will be live in late 2019.
