January 1, 2020

2020 is the official UN International Year of Plant Health. To celebrate this, CottonInfo has turned its annual cotton calendar 50 shades of green.

The 2020 calendar features a range of stunning photographs from across the cotton season, and top tips for plant health covering pests, weed and disease management, plus the best in on-farm biosecurity practices. Plant health encompasses a broad range of practices, including on-farm biosecurity, to help protect plants and crops from the negative impacts of pests, weeds and disease. Through CRDC, the industry is investing in research, development and extension to ensure the continued health of our cotton plants and the wider industry.

Each month this year, CottonInfo will be bringing you information on these latest crop protection RD&E outcomes via the CottonInfo twitter page and blog posts. For information on January's top tip - monitor, manage and report - click here. To request a copy of the calendar, click here.
